Refund Policy

A note before the legalese.
LootKeep is operated by Antonio Laguna Matías, trading as LootKeep, a sole trader (autónomo) based in Spain. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases.

Who handles payments

Stripe is the Merchant of Record (the authorised reseller) for every LootKeep purchase. That means Stripe handles billing, tax, and refunds on our behalf. When you buy a plan, your contract for payment is with Stripe, and refunds are issued by Stripe.

You check out through Link, Stripe's secure checkout, so your card statement shows a charge referencing Link and LootKeep rather than LootKeep alone. Receipts and renewal emails come from Link on our behalf.

Free trial

Every LootKeep plan includes a 60-day free trial with no card required. We want you to evaluate the service fully before any charge is made, so take your time and make sure LootKeep is right for you before you pay.

Subscriptions

Because the free trial lets you evaluate LootKeep before paying, we don't routinely refund a subscription charge once it's billed. That said, Stripe and Link can issue a refund within 60 days of a charge where the circumstances warrant it, and we won't stand in the way of a fair one. If you were charged in error or something went wrong, contact us and we'll help put it right.

As merchant of record, Stripe has the final say on refunds and may grant one directly, including to resolve a dispute. When a refund is granted, any VAT charged is returned to you along with it.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops all future renewals. You keep access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for; we don't provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a current period unless the law requires it.

Your statutory rights

If you're a consumer in the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction that grants a statutory right of withdrawal, you may be entitled to cancel within 14 days of purchase and receive a refund, in accordance with Stripe's terms. Where you begin using the service during that period and have agreed to immediate access, the statutory withdrawal right may no longer apply.

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under consumer protection law.

How to request a refund

Because Stripe is the Merchant of Record, all refund requests are handled by Stripe. You can manage your subscription and request a refund from your account at link.com, or email us at [email protected] and we'll help. Where granted, refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 14 days.
