Billing FAQ

How LootKeep charges work · written to be read, not skipped

The short version.
Your subscription is sold through Link, Stripe's secure checkout, which acts as the merchant of record. That's why your statement, receipts, and renewal emails reference Link rather than LootKeep alone. Nothing is wrong, and it isn't a duplicate charge.

Why your statement says “LINK.COM* LOOTKEEP”

When you subscribe, you check out through Link, Stripe's secure checkout. Link is the merchant of record for the sale, so it handles billing and tax on our behalf. Your bank shows the charge as LINK.COM* LOOTKEEP: the LINK.COM* part is Link, and LOOTKEEP is us. It's a single charge for your LootKeep plan, not two.

Where your receipts and invoices come from

Because Link is the merchant of record, Link emails your receipts and invoices (with a PDF attached) after each payment, and again on every renewal. Your latest invoices are also listed in your LootKeep dashboard under Billing, each with a link to the PDF, so you can grab one for expenses without leaving LootKeep.

Your full order history lives at link.com. Sign in there with the same email you used at checkout to see every past payment.

Updating your card or cancelling

You can cancel or switch plans right inside LootKeep, from the Billing tab in your dashboard. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

To update your payment method or change your billing address, head to link.com and sign in with your checkout email. Because Link holds your card details as the merchant of record, that's where card changes are made, not in LootKeep.

Renewal reminders

Link sends an upcoming-renewal email before your plan renews, so a charge is never a surprise. In some regions a renewal reminder is sent because the law requires it, even if reminders are otherwise turned off, typically around 15 days before a yearly renewal. These come from Link, alongside your receipts.

Refunds & support

Every plan starts with a 60-day free trial with no card, so you can evaluate LootKeep fully before paying. For how refunds work once you're billed, see our Refund Policy. Anything else, email [email protected] and a human in the EU will help.
